Periodontology is a branch of dentistry which deals with the study of supporting structures (Periodontium) of the tooth and with the diseases affecting the same. Periodontics not only deals with the natural dentition but also has its responsibility towards the maintenance of health of a dental implant. The Department of Periodontics provides instruction and clinical experience dealing with the etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of the periodontium in adults.
Prosthodontics is a branch of dentistry that treats patients with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues. Optimal oral health and esthetics are obtained for patients through the use of dental implants, dentures, veneers, crowns and teeth whitening. Through diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance, a prosthodontist can improve the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of a patient. The Department of Prosthodontics educates students and provides care in the areas of fixed prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, and occlusion. Faculty provides training in fixed, removable and implant prosthodontics.

Pedodontists promote the dental health of children along with serving as educational resources for parents. The department of Pediatric Dentistry offers treatments of young patients from birth to adolescence and parental education under the supervision of the scientific members of the department.
Orthodontics is a field of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention and correction of mal-positioned teeth and jaws. Department of Orthodontics aims at treatment of children and adolescents using removable orthodontic appliances performed by dentistry students, supervised by faculty members. The department members instruct basic and advanced orthodontic treatments to dentistry students. Department of Orthodontics offers treatments with fixed and removable appliances under precise supervision of faculty members.
Oral and maxillofacial pathology is a branch of dentistry involved with the diagnosis and study of the causes and effects of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions (i.e. the mouth, the jaws and the face). Department of Oral and maxillofacial pathology treats patients, conduct research and diagnose diseases using clinical, radiographic, microscopic, biochemical or other examinations. We strive to teach oral and maxillofacial pathology and related subjects to dentistry students. Moreover, the department provides oral pathology diagnosis service.
